The private key for my SSL certificate may be compromised. What can I do?

If the private key of your certificate has been compromised, you should reissue your certificate and then revoke the original certificate.

To revoke the certificate, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Purchased certs;
  2. Make sure that ‘Replaced’ certificates are displayed;
  3. Locate the replaced certificate;
  4. Click on the ‘Replaced’ status, choose ‘Revoke’;
  5. Confirm the action.
