[Completed] COMODO Scheduled Maintenance - February 28, 2018

Dear Customers,

This announcement is to inform you about a forthcoming scheduled maintenance, which will take place at COMODO Certificate Authority on February 28, 2018 (March 1st UTC)

The maintenance window is the following:

6:59 - 7:30 PM EST February 28, 2018
23:59 UTC February 28, 2018 - 00:30 UTC, March 1, 2018

The purpose of the maintenance is to adjust SSL certificate issuance process to CA/B Forum Baseline Requirements (link to the ballot). In a nutshell, Certificate Authorities (including COMODO) will adopt a new maximum lifetime for all TLS/SSL certificates of 825 days (~ 27 months).

This change does not affect any certificate issued before March 1st, 2018. No certificates will be revoked as a result of this change. Already activated but yet not issued SSL certificates will be issued with maximum validity time of 825 days.

Starting from this moment, COMODO SSL certificates cannot be issued for the period more than 27 months.
